Built for Control in Any Water

All Water Masters have the same signature “rockerless” design that allows them to track extremely well in both moving water and windy conditions, they draw very little water making them perfect skinny water boats, and enable you to float and fish your favorite river or hold your position on a windy lake. They have also proven to be very safe and capable white water rafts when you need to make it through the tough sections to find the perfect fishing spot. All of our raft models are rated to class 4 whitewater.

Water Master Gizzly & Kodiak

Grizzly & Kodiak:
Lightweight Rafts, Serious Capability

The Water Master Grizzly and Kodiak pack rafts fold into extremely compact packages and can be loaded into a dry bag backpack in under 10 minutes. Inflate the raft, attach the oars and seat and you are ready to hit the water. The Water Master Grizzly and Kodiak is everything your personal watercraft should be. Lightweight, safe, stable, extremely maneuverable, and very durable. The integrated fin system allows for hands-free fishing, letting you control the raft with your feet while keeping your hands free to cast, mend, and fight fish.

Stand up inside the raft in shallow water and it will spin downstream and stay with you, generating very little drag and functioning as a wading aid. You can stop to fish a prime lie, fish your way up or down a riffle, stand on a midstream rock, or pull into shore and land a fish without having to get out of your boat or worry about it floating away. When you have covered the water or landed your fish, just sit back down and continue your float.

Water Master Bruin

Bruin: Room for Crew and Gear

The Bruin 2-3 person raft is one of the most versatile, maneuverable, and safest rafts on the market. Its carefully engineered dimensions and design provide exceptional stability, a massive 1500 lb weight capacity, and ample space for one rower and two anglers.

Unlike traditional “rocker” rafts, the Bruin features a bullet-shaped bow and stern and oversized tubes that let it float high on the water. This design makes it exceptionally suited for skinny water, giving you the confidence to navigate shallow rivers while keeping your crew and gear safe and comfortable.

Customer Testimonials

Trusted by Anglers and Adventurers

I purchased my Water Master Grizzly in 2001 and it is still going strong 24 years later. I use it mostly for fishing for Smallmouth in the South Fork of the Shenandoah.
I have had the privilege of dragging my Water Master all over the world and without it could have never fished some of the areas I have! These boats are extremely durable and have held up after being dragged over volcanic rocks in Iceland, being beaten down in the arctic and putting them through all sorts of abuse of the course of several years. Versatile is the name of the game here, you can add a motor, an anchor mount, a bottom to stand up in and sight fish or pack the boat up and go for a hike. Possibilities are endless with these boats and I can’t say enough about them. I have worked with Rich (the owner) for years and besides producing a top notch boat he is a stand up guy that backs his products, period. If you want a boat that will get you into more fish and hold up for years of service this is your boat!
I’ve had a Water Master for over 25 years and it is still going strong. I also have a drift boat, but fishing from the Water Master is so much more fun and more effective. I’ve helicoptered into a British Columbia steelhead river twice with my boat and have floated almost every river in Montana with it. You’ll never regret having a Water Master.
I bought my first Water Master 30 years ago , and just like Johnny Cash, “Its been everywhere man”. Its been to wild rivers, creeks, mountain lakes, large reservoirs, and ponds. It’s seen trout, bass, crappie, bluegill, and striped bass. Over that time, it has not once let me down. I can conservatively say that over the 30 years I fished that raft 2 times per week. The Water Master is not a float tube, pontoon boat, or kayak. It is a legitimate compact, lightweight, stable, durable raft. It assembles in 10 minutes. When deflated it will fit in your compact EV. It is a time proven, perfected design. It rows like dream, and fins with ease. Its lower profile and larger contact surface with the water makes it more stable, and less prone to losing position in the wind. And you sit 8 inches out of the water on

a rigid, not inflatable, seat deck. Behind that deck is ample storage room for your gear, trolling motor battery, and soft cooler. I just bought a new Water Master Kodiak this week. I expect to sell my old raft quickly, as others have expressed interest. The customer service I’ve received over the years from the crew at Water Master has been accurate, prompt, and consistent. They were always there to answer my questions. I really mean it: They were always there to help. My purchase just this week was no different. Over the years, other companies have flat-out copied the Water master design. And my fishing partners have told me they don’t measure up. They now own Water Masters. You may think I was paid to write this review. That’s not the case. It’s very unusual to buy a product nowadays that delivers on every promise it makes and backs it up with an ironclad warranty and customer service from a person who knows the product. I want everyone to know that Water Master is the real deal. The Water Master is without question a raft worth owning. Buy one.
“The first time I used a Water Master was when I was fishing with a friend on a mountain stream that had various obstacles throughout the float. We needed the ability to dodge log jams, get over rollers and to be able to slide over jagged sharp rocks. It is waters like these that make having a durable, stable, inflatable boat like the Water Master the inflatable of choice to safely make it down the river.”
I’ve been using Water Master rafts for years, and they always go above and beyond. Their packable, inflatable rafts, like the Grizzly, are super durable, stable, and portable. Whether I’m navigating swift rivers or calm lakes, they’re perfect for any water body. We even upgraded to the Bruin for our family floats recently! The design is so intuitive, and setting up is a breeze, so I get more fishing time. Water Master’s quality and customer service shine through in every detail, making their rafts a go-to for all my adventures. Whether it’s a solo trip or guiding friends and family, Water Master rafts are reliable and perform incredibly well. I highly recommend them to any serious angler.
